How to care for your Providence hijab
Just like silk, lace or chiffon The Providence hijabs require special care.
The following instructions will help to prolong the life of your hijab.
Pop your hijab in a wash bag and run through a delicate cycle with similar fibres and colours.
Use a mild detergent, laundry softener or a dash of vinegar for a natural alternative.
Dry flat in shade and iron on a silk setting.
To keep your hijab looking its best for as long as possible refrain from:
· Spot cleaning or soaking;
· Rubbing;
· Wringing to release excess water if handwashing;
· Tumble drying.
Your hijab is dry cleanable.
We recommend using hijab magnet clips (available at Modesty Hut).
If using sharp pins, please take extra care to avoid holes and fabric pulling.
Wear your hijab lose for snag-free outcomes.
Please note that the fabric is 100% plant-based (wood pulp) and will deteriorate over time.
The longevity will depend on the level of care as well as environmental factors (sun, pollution, rain, etc).
